Locations: Worship service is currently meeting via Zoom due to COVID-19 safety concerns

We are grateful to God for His guiding hand that took us through all challenges in organizing our women's group into a United Methodist Women's Organization (UMWO).

The launching ceremony was done via zoom on Mother's Day May 9th, The installation ceremony was performed by our District Superintendent, Rev Debra Hobbs Mason.

In that event which could be described as historic, the following women were installed as founder members of the Ebenezer UMWO: Balkisu Conteh; Brenda Sechyi; Mabel Bundor; Khai Moriba; Doris. Bangura; Jane Macarthy; Remilekun Nicol; Elizabeth Sannoh; Josephine Faulkner and Belinda Chapman.

The sermon was preached by one of the founder members, Madam Doris Bangura, who preached on the theme of the occasion: A Virtuous Woman, who can find (Proverbs 31:10).

As a church, we have started planning toward returning to in-person worship by the end of June, God being our helper. We are however working in collaboration with the Communications Department of the FUMC to ensure that we keep accommodating our "Out Of Sate" worshipers through live streaming on Facebook and you tube..

Our seventh Anniversary Celebration continues through the year, as we look forward to the Launching of the Ebenezer Men's Organization shortly. To the glory of God.

Faithfully,

Rev. Sylvanus A. Chapman
